Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Logistics Freight Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods, acting as an intermediary between carriers and clients. This position requires exceptional communication and negotiation skills, along with a strong focus on customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients.

• Coordinate and oversee the movement of freight, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.

• Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers.

• Utilize logistics software to manage and track shipments.

• Resolve issues and address inquiries related to transportation.

• Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications.

• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve profitability.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar role in logistics and transportation.

• Knowledge of the transportation market and relevant regulations.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in computer tools and transportation management software.

• Customer-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
