Develop and maintain relationships with a portfolio of carriers, ensuring reliable and efficient transportation services
Negotiate rates, secure capacity, and manage the end-to-end shipment process to meet customer requirements

Identify and address carrier performance issues, working to find solutions that uphold our high service standards
Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other tools to track and manage shipments
Communicate effectively with carriers, internal teams, and customers to provide updates on shipment status
Proactively address any challenges that may arise during transit to ensure on-time delivery
Stay informed about market trends and industry developments to make informed decisions
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
Strive to exceed individual and team targets for revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction
2 years of experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or a related role
Proven track record of successful carrier negotiations and relationship management
Strong understanding of transportation industry dynamics, including regulations and market trends
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, informed decisions
