Job Summary:

An exciting new opportunity has just opened up at Sysco, and they are keenly searching for the right candidate to fill it right away. This position entails working in a buzzing warehouse environment, where the selected applicant will be responsible for choosing orders for delivery to nearby food-related establishments. Previous warehouse experience is not required, and the annual earning potential is around $70k, including a base salary, overtime pay, and other offers and rewards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take advantage of electric pallet jacks and/or forklifts to accurately and efficiently gather and palletize customer orders.

• The well-being of workers can be guaranteed by ensuring that all safety protocols are implemented and observed at all times.

• Sort and palletize items based on the specifications of the order and the requirements of the delivery instructions.

• Function in areas where temperature and humidity may vary, prioritizing adaptability to environments with cooler temperatures such as refrigerated spaces.

• The shoulders, legs, and back should be properly used when lifting items that weigh between 1lb and 100lbs.

• Employ bending, twisting, and reaching movements while operating equipment and retrieving products.

Qualifications and Experience:

• The minimum requirement for this job opening is the candidate having zero to one year's work experience and being at least 18 years old.

• Candidates with prior experience of no less than six months in a physically demanding job, such as military or warehouse work, are the preferred choice.

• While possessing skills in handling electric pallet jacks or forklifts is an asset, it is not mandatory.

• The position necessitates the ability to remain on one's feet for a long time in intense weather conditions.
