Carrier Relationships: Build and sustain strong relationships with carriers experienced in DoD freight, ensuring reliable and compliant service

Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and meets DoD regulations, including bills of lading and transportation security plans

Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service to DoD clients by addressing their needs swiftly and ensuring complete satisfaction

Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to standardize and improve quoting processes, sharing insights and best practices

Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the transportation process, maintaining open and clear communication with all parties involved

Reporting: Monitor and report on shipment progress, costs, and any challenges encountered, providing regular updates to management and clients

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of DoD regulations and a proven track record in team-based quoting

Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in freight brokerage, with a strong focus on DoD freight

Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of DoD transportation regulations, compliance standards, and security protocols

Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, especially in collaborative quoting and pricing

Communication: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with carriers, clients, and team members

Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, particularly in documentation and compliance matters

Problem-Solving: Proven ability to resolve issues efficiently and make decisions under pressure

Technology: Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software

Pay: $74,879.00 - $83,790.00 per year
