Grainger is hiring for Warehouse Logistics Coordinator

It's the responsibility of Grainger's Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to maintain an organized and easily accessible inventory system. This involves duties such as record-keeping, restocking, and the arrangement of products in the warehouse to optimize its entire operations.

Responsibilities:

• Place inventory in the right position using appropriate placement techniques.

• Arrange the items in the package and ensure that they are correctly labeled.

• Verify all the delivered products for accuracy, and make sure they meet the precise specifications as described in the purchase order.

• As soon as you identify damaged or missing inventory, report it promptly to your supervisors for further action.

• Simplify the stacking and ordering of oversized merchandise.

• Properly remove products from trucks and distribute them to their designated locations.

• The system now allows for automatic updates to inventory levels based on sales and restocking activities.

• Transfer products from storage sites to the designated workstations, pick-up spots, or other identified locations.

• Following safety protocols and using the appropriate safety gear is vital to ensure safety.

Qualifications:

• Applicants who possess previous experience as a stocker or in a comparable position are preferred.

• Competent in operating both forklifts and pallet jacks, having performed various tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, and moving materials in a warehouse.

• Strong people skills.

• Good moral character.

• Possessing remarkable physical strength, agility, and dexterity, and unaffected by harsh climate and skyscraper heights.

• The basic requirement for this job is a high school diploma or its comparable qualification.
