Perform all responsibilities listed in the Records Specialist job description

Collect all data generated from cell isolation manufacturing for research and clinical use and other processes as applicable

Input data as required into research database, spreadsheets, clinical trial database and Laboratory Information System

Review, maintain and analyze data; create daily, weekly and monthly reports for management

Track, trend and report any issues from the record review to the Cord Blood Operations Manager and Director of Cord Blood in a timely manner

Assist in developing and revising departmental SOPs and training plans under the direction of the Director and/or Manager, as needed

Coordinate cellular product shipments for research or clinical use

Communicate with external customers of cellular products to notify them of product availability and shipping information

Maintain purchase orders and communicate their progress to management

Create and Manage COAs

Coordinate the review of files and COAs for final lot release

Assist in cellular product storage tracking

Maintain records of locations in freezer, quadrant, rack, box, etc., as applicable

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver's license

Must also meet and maintain LifeSouth driver's eligibility requirements

Previous relevant experience

Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments concurrently

Ability to effectively participate in a stress-filled and time-critical team environment

Ability to prepare concise and informative reports

Ability to work with confidential records and maintain confidentiality of these materials

Ability to fill out and maintain records in accordance with applicable policies and regulatory standards

Ability to analyze, think critically, and make decisions consistent with SOP and regulatory guidelines

Knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations related to confidentiality and privacy of personal information, including health information

Criminal background check and drug screen required upon conditional offer of hire

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator in Gainesville, FL. This position is responsible for coordinating the collection, maintenance and delivery of data generated by the department. This includes data gathering, data entry, analyzing data, creating and maintaining spreadsheets and databases, and communicating with internal and external customers regarding data. This position is also responsible for the logistics of the maintenance and shipping of cellular products for research and clinical use.
